There was great excitement today as we prepared to give the Connacht rugby team a send off on their way to Scotland for Saturday’s match in Murryfield. There was great anticipation as we waited for the team bus to travel down from Galway. We got word that they had gone through Tuam and the children and teachers gathered outside. All the children waved flags and held banners to wish the team the best of luck. Much to our delight, they slowed down, beeped the horn and waved back! We will all be cheering for them on Saturday. Connacht abú!
