How far does a sneeze travel?

If you ever wondered how far a sneeze travels then you are in luck. 3rd and 4th class tested how far a sneeze can go. They placed flour into a balloon and blew it up. To save the classroom from the mess, they went outside. Two children stood on chairs side by side. One held the balloon with the flour in it, the other popped the balloon with a very sharp pin.  When the balloon burst, the flour spread and the children recorded how far the traces of flour traveled. They discovered that a sneeze can travel up to 8 metres or more! So, remember to cover your nose when you sneeze!
